Tuesday, January 11, 2022 - 7:00pm

Online via Go-To-Meeting

The USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service would like to inform WFFA members about cost sharing programs that are available for forestry activities.

Keith Griswold will provide information on Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP)

  • What is EQIP?
  • What are the eligibility requirements?
  • How do I apply?
  • What example conservation practices are available for Forestry?

The Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP) provides financial and technical assistance to agricultural producers in order to address natural resource concerns and deliver environmental benefits such as improved water and air quality, conserved ground and surface water, reduced soil erosion and sedimentation or improved or created wildlife habitat.

Misty Seaboldt will provide information about the Conservation Stewardship Program (CSP)

  • What is CSP?
  • What are the eligibility requirements?
  • How do I apply?
  • What example enhancement practices are available for Forestry?

The Conservation Stewardship Program (CSP) helps agricultural producers maintain and improve their existing conservation systems and adopt additional conservation activities to address priority resources concerns. Participants earn CSP payments for previous conservation performance adopted on the operation, and then adoption of more enhancements for the higher the performance, and the higher the payment.
